Borghetto Vara

Location
Borghetto Vara is located in the mid Val di Vara, at the cross roads of the Aurelia State Road and Provincial Road S.P. 566. Borghetto is only a few kilometres from the Cinque Terre. 
Motorway Exit: Motorway A12, Brugnato-Borghetto Exit (2 km from Borghetto Vara).

What to see and do
The territory of Borghetto is in the Cassana Stream Valley. The entire area is surrounded by hills covered with thick chestnut trees and farms bordering on the Vara River. Borghetto and its surrounding villages offer tourists the chance to experience a typical rural Ligurian atmosphere. Some of the most delicious Ligurian dishes can be tasted in local restaurants.
Some of the attractions of Borghetto are: the historical centres, with their ancient houses; its narrow, winding Ligurian alleys; and tempting local shops. The natural landscape, villages and local traditions in this area are still intact.
Many footpaths connect the area to the Alta Val di Vara, the Cinque Terre and the Riviera.
